The Larry Scott Memorial Trail is an extension of the Olympic Peninsula Trail which will eventually go from Port Townsend to Neah Bay, WA. As of 2019 it is nearly 8 miles long beginning at the Port of Port Townsend Boat Haven Trailhead to Milo Curry Rd at its current southern point. Research has been done to extend the trail to Discovery Bay, but nothing built yet.
For cyclists, until Olympic Discovery Trail is connected to Discovery Bay at Highways 20 and 101 we highly recommend riding Hwy 19 to Center Rd and then west on Hwy 104 to Hwy 101. It adds 10 miles but is vastly safer than Hwy 20 over Eaglemount which has high-speed traffic, no shoulders and limited visability.
